Our aim is to focus on each client as an individual, consider their unique lifestyle and the impact their hearing loss is having on, not only them, but their family and friends. Our dedicated hearing care team seek to provide incredible, safe hearing care for every client who walks through our doors
Everyday lives can be improved again and again through careful, well-managed hearing care. As Audiologists, we understand that as people, we all connect with one another and this connection is integral to the moments we share. Being able to help our clients enjoy better hearing and share that experience with others is simply a pleasure.
Jo and the team aim to offer great, professional advice in a relaxed atmosphere where we have the time to chat about your hearing journey over tea or coffee. Hear in Hagley, Hear in Wombourne and Hear in Rubery are family owned and completely independent, offering bespoke hearing aid solutions and ear wax removal in our friendly hearing care clinics
Having worked for many years in both the NHS and for national retail hearing care providers I decided to take the plunge and open Hear in Hagley. Within 12 months, and despite a worldwide pandemic, Hear in Wombourne, Hear in Rubery and The Audiology Academy opened.
My daughter Sophie, nephew Wyll and our amazing team work hard to put the customer first and aim is to focus on each client as an individual, consider their unique lifestyle and the impact their hearing loss is having on, not only them, but their family and friends.
Our reputation for excellent service is key to our success. As the business grows we aim to help as many people as possible to hear better and live life to the full
Helping people hear better really is at the heart of what I do and my aim is to not only improve the life of those in need of specialist and bespoke hearing care, but to also inspire other Audiologists to do the same.
Hearing is individual, and that’s exactly how all my clients will be treated – as individuals. It’s important as an Audiologist to remember that hearing loss not only affects that individual, but their close network around them.
The improvement of better hearing is not only an impact on our clients lives but the lives of those around them. Being a part of that is a wonderful and accomplished feeling. Being able to spend the right amount of time with my clients to truly understand and support their hearing needs is incredibly important to me and at Hear in Wombourne we are doing just that.
During the last 20 years as an audiologist, I've had a passion to identify the needs of those who struggle with hearing loss and strive to offer the very best solution to help them hear with care & empathy , taking time to listen to the needs of my clients and their families. I offer a personalised plan for my customers and lead them on the journey to better hearing. It makes such a difference if my customers know I am going to spend time and listen to them, I also have experience with clients who suffer from dementia & Alzheimer's and take the time to assure them in a comfortable, friendly environment.
”Having been a practicing audiologist for over twenty years I was delighted to be asked by Jo to become a member of the team at Hear in Wombourne, Hagley and Robinsons in Rubery. Having known and worked with Jo and most of her audiologists for many years it was an easy decision
It’s incredibly satisfying to be able to make a frequently life changing difference to the quality of life of our clients in an exceptionally calm and non pressured environment. The state of the art equipment we use here is quite exceptional.
I look forward to meeting many of you over the coming few months.”
I am a fully qualified HCA based at ‘Hear In Hagley’ in the West Midlands.
Before my role as a HCA I worked in retail including 13 years for Boots Opticians as a Manager and Dispensing Assistant. I believe all the skills I gained in that role and previous roles are very transferable to the job I am now in.
I aim to deliver the best solution to each client I see in a professional and friendly manner, and give the best customer service . I am really excited to have the opportunity to work in such a professional environment with such a professional team.
In my spare time I look after my many pets , photography and home baking.
I am immensely proud to be a part of the ‘Hear in’ family at Hagley and Wombourne. I chose to pursue my career in hearing care as I have a strong passion for health, hearing and the care of others. In the future, I aspire to be as knowledgeable as my fellow colleagues and to hopefully make a big impact within the company’s goals and future plans. In my spare time I like to socialise with friends and family, along with keeping on top of fitness which involves both football and cricket.
I joined Hear In Wombourne in January 2022.
After working as a Residential Leader at a local school for students having physical and learning difficulties for over 20 years, I wanted to continue in a job that involves improving people’s lives.
I am a wife, mother to four sons and have two lovely grandchildren. Me and my husband enjoy exploring new places in our classic Commer campervan as often as our busy lives allow. I also enjoy walking with my dog, socialising with friends and reading.
I am very happy to be part of the Team at ‘Hear In Wombourne’ and look forward to meeting all of our clients, inviting them into our warm and friendly reception area.
Hi, I’m Diane. Married with a daughter, I enjoy travel and singing in a local choir. With excellent customer service at the forefront, I’m excited to be part of the Hear in Hagley team. I am committed to ensuring all of our clients experience a warm and relaxed welcome at our clinic.
I have worked in the hearing care business for over 10 years. It was during this time that I first met Jo and it was always a privilege to work alongside her and benefit from all her experience and professionalism. I get great satisfaction from building good relationships by supporting and helping existing customers and advising new customers about the services we offer.
I joined Hear in Wombourne in November 2022 having previously worked in a busy school office for over 20 years.
I appreciate the importance of welcoming clients into our busy clinic in a warm and friendly manner to help create a relaxed and positive experience.
I enjoy offering support and advice to our valued clients and proud to be a part of the amazing 'Hear in' team!
