Hear in Wombourne
Beginning your journey to better hearing
Hear in Wombourne is purposefully designed to offer you a relaxed and friendly environment to discuss your hearing needs, over a coffee or tea, without an overly clinical feel that can sometimes make us all feel a little nervous. We have a strong desire to make everyone feel welcome and to leave you feeling valued as a customer of ours. This approach is consistent across all of our clinics.
Your hearing loss may be impacting on your lifestyle and those around you so it’s important we help you hear better so you can easily get the most out of every single day.
We use state of the art equipment to examine your outer and middle ears thoroughly and test your hearing with a series of beeps, tones and speech to get a full picture of your hearing ability and how we can best help you.
With the results of your assessment, we are able to select the best hearing solution for you based on your listening needs and your journey to better hearing can begin. At Hear in Wombourne, Sophie and the team promise to support you throughout, giving you plenty of time to get used to the new sounds around you and make any changes to get the very best out of your new hearing aids.
Our ongoing aftercare program, regular check ups and reassessments will ensure that you and your ears are well looked after for the future.
Helping people hear better really is at the heart of what I do and my aim is to not only improve the life of those in need of specialist and bespoke hearing care, but to also inspire other Audiologists to do the same.
Hearing is individual, and that’s exactly how all my clients will be treated – as individuals. It’s important as an Audiologist to remember that hearing loss not only affects that individual, but their close network around them.
The improvement of better hearing is not only an impact on our clients lives but the lives of those around them. Being a part of that is a wonderful and accomplished feeling. Being able to spend the right amount of time with my clients to truly understand and support their hearing needs is incredibly important to me and at Hear in Wombourne we are doing just that.
“Hi, my name is Wendy and I'm thrilled to be part of the team at Hear in Wombourne. For many years I have worked in dentistry with the aim to help people smile with confidence. My aim is still to help people smile but by helping them solve their hearing difficulties.
In my spare time I love nothing more than spending time with my family, and going for country walks with my gorgeous springer spaniel Bella. Alongside Sophie, we look forward to welcoming you into our friendly and professional clinic.”
I am immensely proud to be a part of the ‘Hear in’ family at Hagley and Wombourne. I chose to pursue my career in hearing care as I have a strong passion for health, hearing and the care of others. In the future, I aspire to be as knowledgeable as my fellow colleagues and to hopefully make a big impact within the company’s goals and future plans. In my spare time I like to socialise with friends and family, along with keeping on top of fitness which involves both football and cricket.
