HEAR IN HAGLEY CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
We have all seen in the news how quickly the situation regarding coronavirus is developing. In order for the country to recover quickly from this terrible situation we must all do our bit to minimise the risk to ourselves and others.
So, it is with a very heavy heart that I feel it is now the right time to ‘pause’ the business at Hear in Hagley until the effects of the Coronavirus subside. We will close our clinic with immediate effect until further notice.
This has not been an easy decision for me but the health, safety and wellbeing of us as a team, our families, customers and the wider community have to be my priority.
As the majority of our clients are over 70, and fall into the vulnerable group, it feels morally and ethically wrong to ask these people to attend appointments and place them, and us at risk, when they should be at home as advised by the government.
We will continue to support our existing customers as best we can but clearly this will be a challenge over the coming months and your patience will be much appreciated
We will be adopting a ‘remote access’ approach for repairs for both clients of Hear in Hagley and extend that to anyone who may need assistance but can’t access their usual audiologist either NHS or private practice. Details will follow.
